Cortney Wilkinson

Maggie Wicht
Interior design has been a life-long passion for Cortney, Yesterday's Tree lead designer. She has dedicated her career to creating extraordinary lifestyles through home design. A graduate of the textile program at North Carolina State University and the international fashion merchandising program at Florida State University London, Cortney has an innate sense of style and the conviction that each home should embrace the spirit of the people that live there. Her inspiration begins with her clients' personal stories, but she draws on decades of experience working with the essential tools of design: color, texture, scale, function and most of all, creativity. Her aesthetic is inspired by fashion, textiles, architecture, luxury handbags and the history she discovers during travels here and abroad.
Tonya’s interior design career began in the panhandle of Florida in 1992. She has competed in and won 10 National Dream Room competitions and has been featured in the coffee table book Devine Design as well as the trade publication Window Fashions Design and Education Magazine. She loves to create designs that are just as unique and personal as her wonderful clients.
Maggie grew up in the NC mountains before winding her way to NYC to earn her Master's in Design from Pratt Institute. Since 2020, she has been helping clients realize their dream spaces in the Highlands, Cashiers, and Lake Toxaway areas, and she is excited to continue that work here in Asheville. Whether your style is traditional, transitional, modern, or anything in between, Maggie loves bringing to life the design aesthetic you are passionate about.
